About flora ephemera

Meet Emma, the florist behind Flora Ephemera.

My love for flowers started long before this business did. As a young girl, I was often distracted by nature and florals. During soccer games, I could be found picking daisies and handing them out to players as they ran past. I'd come home from playing outside with fists full of "weeds," insisting they be put into a vase at once.

That instinct still shapes my work today. I use flowers to shape atmosphere — as quiet details that set a tone, create a feeling, and bring a sense of beauty and intention to any gathering. I love collaborating and working closely with others to create a shared aesthetic and a thoughtful sense of place.

To me, flowers are fleeting moments in time — small, beautiful offerings meant to capture a feeling, mark an occasion, and bring joy while they're here. I celebrate the transient beauty of blooms and the art of thoughtful design. Every arrangement I create is guided by intention, inspired by the seasons, natural movement, and the unique stories of my clients.

My work is rooted in sustainable practices. I source from local growers and choose blooms that honor the ephemeral nature of flowers while creating designs that leave a lasting impression.

Based in West Seattle, I serve clients throughout the greater Seattle area with deeply personal, artful floral design.

Send me a message — I'd love to create something beautiful and meaningful with you.
